Dental Implants – Why & When?
Losing a tooth can be devastating and impact us not only because it affects the way we look (if that is a front tooth case) but also because it can have other consequences such as:
Bone loss at the area of the missing tooth
Shifting and inclination of the teeth which cause bite alteration
Jaw joint problems
Difficulty in chewing properly could impact your overall health
Additional stress on the remaining teeth
Dental implants are biocompatible titanium replacements of the tooth’s roots. The implant is a long documented treatment, which allows replacement of missing tooth by mimicking nature as closely as possible.

Planning Stage
Intelligent planning is the most important part of the process followed by execution by a skilled dentist. A careful treatment plan is a difference between success and failure. Choose a specialist with extensive experience!
Temporary restoration
If the dental implant is in a directly visible area, a temporary restoration may be placed for esthetic purposes while the area heals. Otherwise, your crown will be installed in 2 months once the implant has been fully integrated.
Will it hurt?
The surgery of implant placement is done under local anaesthetic, hence the patients do not experience any pain. Homecare instructions & recommendations will be shared.
